A Wiser Way to Hire. A Better Way to Match.

The WISE Hiring Method is WizMatch’s structured, four-stage process for identifying, verifying and hiring relevant technology talent — Workforce Understanding, Intelligent Talent Discovery, Skill and Suitability Verification, and Engagement to Joining. It replaces resume-forwarding with a repeatable method.

Why resume-forwarding fails

Most staffing is resume-forwarding: a keyword search against a job title, followed by a pile of resumes with no real screening behind them. The WISE Hiring Method replaces that with a repeatable process.

Workforce Understanding

Before sourcing starts, we map the role itself — the team it sits in, the must-have skills, the culture, and the compensation reality. This is a diagnostic step, not a form-fill: the goal is understanding the actual job, not just collecting a job title.

Baseline checks, plus role-specific checks

Every candidate clears the same baseline. What’s layered on top depends on the role — not every role gets the same technical assessment.

Baseline — every candidate

Relevant-experience discussion

Comparing the candidate’s described work with the responsibilities and context of the role.

Availability and notice period

Clarifying practical availability and the notice-period information shared by the candidate.

Compensation and interest

Checking expectations, interest in the opportunity and willingness to proceed.

Role-specific — depends on the role

Identity, employment or document checks

Included only where applicable, lawful and agreed for the engagement; never implied as a universal guarantee.

References or background checks

Included only when requested and supported by the agreed process.

Technical assessment or expert interview

Included only when the method and qualified assessor are actually available for the role.

What makes a match “wise”

A candidate is only a Wise Match when all five dimensions line up — not just skill. Each carries an operational status, never an invented score. Select a dimension to see what it actually assesses.

What happens, and when

Calibration & written confirmation

Every engagement starts with a calibration conversation and written confirmation of the role — not an assumption from a first enquiry.

Search & recruiter-led checks

Sourcing begins against the confirmed requirement, followed by the checks that were agreed for that engagement.

Employer interviews & feedback

WizMatch coordinates the agreed interview stages and keeps both sides informed as feedback becomes available.

Offer to joining

We stay involved from offer through to the candidate’s first day, with the candidate updated after every major stage.

WizMatch never charges candidates a fee.

Candidates are kept updated after every major stage of the process.

WISE Hiring Method FAQs

Does WISE verification add time to the hiring timeline?

Recruiter-led checks run during sourcing. The overall timeline still depends on role complexity, candidate availability and the employer interview process.

Does the WISE Hiring Method apply to contract roles too?

Yes — all four stages apply regardless of whether the engagement is permanent, contract, C2C or C2H.

How soon do I see the first screened profiles?

Timing is agreed after the requirement has been calibrated. It varies with seniority, skill specificity, compensation, location and candidate availability.
